Diaspora Lodge Supporting People Limited is a specialised supported living service dedicated to empowering vulnerable adults and those with mental health needs who require assistance to maintain independent living in the community. Our approach centers on the philosophy of “each one teach one” – creating a supportive environment where individuals can learn, grow, and achieve their personal goals.

We are committed to providing high-quality, person-centered support that enables our clients to take control of their lives while living safely within the local community. Our New Facility
Opening in July 2025, our purpose-designed facility at 5 Brighton Road, South Croydon offers:
- 26 comfortable living spaces spread across 5 floors
- A mix of 4 one-bedroom self-contained flats and 2 studio flats per floor
- Full accessibility features including lift access and wheelchair ramps
- Fully furnished accommodations
- 24-hour on-site professional support
This development aligns with government initiatives to provide suitable, affordable housing for vulnerable individuals in the community.
Our Team
Our dedicated team comprises trained professionals specializing in supporting individuals with challenging behaviours, learning disabilities, and mental health needs. Our compassionate staff are committed to providing personalised care that respects each client’s unique circumstances and aspirations.
Who We Support
We work with adults aged 18-70 years who:
- Have mental health needs
- Experience vulnerability that impacts independent living
- Require support to maintain safe and stable housing
- Would benefit from structured support within a community setting
We currently serve clients in Croydon, Bromley, Lewisham, and surrounding boroughs, working in partnership with SmartSpace Property Solutions and local authorities.
